A Kid's Review
I am ten years old and I like this game a lot.It is very fun, but if you play it a lot, or you are very fast and don't make it the way you would want it in your house it might not be very fun. I asked a girl I knew,(she was 12)if she liked it, and she said she finished it in two days, and once you do that, you can do is make a bedroom for yourself, redo any previous tasks, and change the decoration for the store. This is very fun also, making a room, the most fun out of the three. If you aren't artistic though, I wouldn't buy this game. I like this game much better than imagine fashion designer.

when you cruise down the videogame aisle of your local toys r us and see 100 games for sale for the playstation, versus 50 for n64, you might get the impression that with more games, the playstation is better. it just isn't so. a quick comparison between the two: 1) the n64 comes with 4 controller ports out of the box, while playstion has two. 2) the n64 pioneered "forced feedback" in their controllers. it wasn't until well after the n64's release that sony saw the benefit of that feature and made their own forced feedback controller. 3) no load times on n64 games. 4) although people seem to loathe cartridges, a very valid point is that they are a very durable storage medium (especially if you have children) - drop a cart, brush it off and keep going. drop a ps cd-rom, might as well buy a new game. 5) the game libraries. using the scenario above, 100 ps games to 50 n64 games, you can easily get overwhelmed in the playstation section because of an oversaturation of tried-and-true genres. looking for a racing game? well which one do you choose because there are 15 of them to pick from. on top of that, which one is any good? tried-and-true genres also apply to n64 games, but game quality is usually far more superior. take super mario 64 versus, say... crash bandicoot on playstation. both mascot games. the difference? one sits in the list of "greatest games ever made", while the other is a wanna be. take goldeneye - one of the greatest console shooters of all time, versus a playstion counterpart of ...? you got me. legend of zelda: ocarina of time versus a playstation counterpart of ...? you fill in the blank. you get the idea though. one genre the playstation gets its due over n64 - rpg's. in my opinion, that is the only arena where playstation shines. not enough to warrant a purchase, unless you are a rpg fanatic, but the choice is yours. one last parting shot - people seem to have this misguided notion that n64 games are kiddie. i don't know where that notion came from, but i betcha won't find teletubbies on n64! you'll find it on playstation though. and you won't find hello kitty on n64! you'll find it on playstation though. but n64 is kiddie, though? (un)likely story.

Underrated was the first thing that came to mind after playing this game. I was very worried when buying this game since many review sites were giving it a mediocre score, but I've discovered this is because the reviewers are comparing this game to Biowares top selling games such as Knights of the Old Republic and Mass Effect. They're stating that the game has a basic story and the dialogue in the game is cheesy. It's Sonic, you shouldn't expect a deep story with lots logic, it's supposed to be simple and fun. If you've played his early games some of the lines will make you laugh and smile, the game is simply fun and keeps the story fun but simple.
This game feels more like the original Sonic games, what I mean by that is some of the choices you have to with Sonics dialogue is more rude rather than directly helpful, you run around towns and forests gathering rings, if you run into a badnick you enter combat. Rings are your currency and you spend them RPG style on items and equipment. The visuals are very nice (especially the backgrounds) and the gameplay is simple and fun and might need some getting used to since some moves require you to follow moves on the touch screen. My only problem with the game are some of the sounds are illfitting such as when someone gets KO'd and one or two of the songs. (I havent beaten the game yet)
Honestly the only game you could compare this to is Super Mario RPG, not any of biowares other titles because simply they made the game to be like Sonics world, not it's a good RPG for Sonic and it's looking to be a game that could have a sequel. If you like Sonic and you like RPG's it's worth getting. The review sites aren't being fair in their comparisons of this to Biowares other titles when Sonic is different in every regard, while Sonic isn't the best RPG, it's far from bad, it's a lot of fun and isn't worth passing up.

Nintendo DS Star Wars Lightsaber Stylus 3 Pack
By Michael Kerner "Michael Kerner" (Brooklyn, New York U.S.A.) - reviews
All in all, the Nintendo DS has definitely been the most definitive handheld video game system we've seen on the market in years, and still is selling even stronger than ever. But, one thing that keeps delivering, is that Nintendo knows how to make the system custom-made for the hard core fans. But that also is shown for Star Wars fans too, with the new Star Wars Lightsaber stylus pens. These unique stylus pens appeal well for hard core Star Wars buffs, but also to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars for the Nintendo DS. Sadly, there is one unfortunate dissapointment. I was dissapointed that you can't put these lightsaber pens into your DS Lite holder, whenever you bring you Nintendo DS or DS Lite on the go. Instead, you'd have to bring these Star Wars delights in a DS carrying case with you. Still, they are a fantastic buy for Nintendo DS fans that still say, may the force be with you.
